Solar tide

The periodic rise and fall of atmospheric pressure and sea level caused by the gravitational pull of the Sun. While less pronounced than the lunar tide, it contributes to the overall tidal forces. Its influence on the atmosphere is primarily observed as a diurnal pressure oscillation.
