Uniform flow
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-009884
A fluid flow in which the velocity vector is constant in magnitude and direction at every point within the flow field. In meteorology, this is an idealized concept often used as a simplifying assumption in theoretical models. Real atmospheric flows are rarely perfectly uniform due to variations in pressure, temperature, and terrain.
