Ball diverter

A downhole tool that uses a dropped ball to redirect fluid flow from one path to another, typically to activate a specific tool or stage in a multi-stage completion. The ball seats in a designated profile, blocking the original flow path and forcing fluid through an alternative route. This mechanism is frequently employed in fracturing operations.
