Cement additive

A substance mixed with cement slurry to modify its properties for specific wellbore conditions. These additives can control setting time, reduce fluid loss, improve compressive strength, or alter density. Common examples include retarders, accelerators, dispersants, and fluid loss control agents, each selected based on downhole temperature and pressure.
