Chemical cutter

A downhole tool that uses a highly corrosive chemical reaction to sever tubulars, such as tubing or drill pipe, inside a wellbore. The chemical is contained within the tool and released to etch through the metal, providing a clean cut without the use of explosives or mechanical force. This method is often preferred in situations where explosives are undesirable or unsafe.
