Conductometric titration
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000810
An analytical chemistry technique where the endpoint of a titration is determined by monitoring the electrical conductivity of the solution. In formation evaluation, it can be used to measure the salinity of formation water samples or the concentration of specific ions. The change in conductivity indicates the completion of the reaction between the analyte and the titrant.
