Normality

A measure of concentration in chemistry, defined as the number of gram equivalent weights of solute per liter of solution. In drilling fluid analysis, it is sometimes used to express the concentration of certain ions or reagents in titration tests. Normality is expressed in units of equivalents per liter (eq/L).
