Constant composition expansion
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000821
A laboratory experiment performed on a reservoir fluid sample to determine its phase behavior at a constant temperature. The fluid is expanded in steps by reducing pressure, and the volume of the gas and liquid phases is measured at each step. This test provides data for calculating properties such as bubble point pressure, compressibility, and formation volume factor.
