Crossplot
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000905
A two-dimensional graph that displays the relationship between two different reservoir properties or log measurements, with one variable plotted on the x-axis and the other on the y-axis. These plots are used to identify correlations, delineate rock types, and estimate petrophysical parameters such as porosity, water saturation, or lithology. Common examples include density-neutron or gamma ray-resistivity crossplots.
