Environmental corrections
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-004313
Adjustments applied to raw logging tool measurements to compensate for the effects of borehole conditions and formation properties that are not directly related to the desired rock characteristic. These corrections account for factors such as borehole size, mud resistivity, mudcake thickness, and temperature. The corrected log data more accurately reflects the true formation properties.
