Euclidian dimension
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001333
The standard integer dimension of a geometric object in Euclidean space, representing the number of independent coordinates needed to specify a point within it. For example, a line has a Euclidean dimension of one, a plane has two, and a volume has three. This contrasts with fractal dimensions, which can be non-integer.
