Interference testing
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002007
A well test conducted by producing from one well (the active well) and observing the pressure response in one or more nearby shut-in wells (observation wells). This method determines reservoir connectivity, inter-well permeability, and the presence of reservoir boundaries. Pressure changes are typically measured with downhole gauges in the observation wells.
