Pickling fluid

An acidic solution, typically containing hydrochloric acid and corrosion inhibitors, used to clean the internal surfaces of tubulars or wellbores by dissolving scale, rust, and other inorganic deposits. This fluid is circulated through the system to prepare it for subsequent operations or to remove accumulated debris. The concentration of acid varies based on the type and amount of deposit.
