Reservoir pressure
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003121
The pressure exerted by fluids within a subsurface hydrocarbon reservoir at a specific depth. This pressure drives the flow of oil and gas from the reservoir into a wellbore. Initial reservoir pressure is a key factor in determining the production potential and recovery methods for a field.
