Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003179

A naturally occurring solid aggregate of one or more minerals or mineraloids. In petroleum geology, rocks are classified as igneous, sedimentary, or metamorphic, with sedimentary types like sandstone, limestone, and shale being the most relevant as source, reservoir, and seal rocks.
