T1

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003746

The longitudinal relaxation time in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) logging, representing the time constant for the nuclear spins to realign with the static magnetic field after being perturbed. This parameter provides information about the pore size distribution and fluid types within the rock formation. T1 values are measured in milliseconds and vary significantly between different fluids and rock matrices.
