T2
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003747
The transverse relaxation time in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) logging, representing the time constant for the nuclear spins to dephase in the transverse plane after being perturbed. This parameter is highly sensitive to pore size and fluid viscosity. It is measured in milliseconds and is used to determine pore size distribution and fluid typing.
