  "definition": "A population of allogeneic T lymphocytes specifically reactive to human adenovirus (HAdV) with potential antiviral activity. Allogeneic HAdV antigen-specific T cells are prepared via ex vivo stimulation of donor-derived peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) with HAdV hexon protein. T cells that secrete interferon (IFN)-gamma in response to HAdV antigen exposure are selected and expanded for administration. Infusion of the HAdV antigen-specific T lymphocytes into hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) patients infected with HAdV may potentially reconstitute virus-specific responses, thereby controlling HAdV infections.",
