3D NAND

Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000012

A type of non-volatile flash memory architecture where memory cells are stacked vertically in multiple layers, rather than being arranged in a single plane. This vertical stacking significantly increases storage density within a given footprint. Modern 3D NAND devices can feature hundreds of active layers.
