Static random-access memory
Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000319
A type of random access memory that retains data as long as power is supplied, without the need for periodic refreshing. Each bit of data is stored using a bistable latching circuit, typically comprising six transistors. This memory offers faster access times compared to dynamic random access memory (DRAM) but has a lower storage density.
