Acceptor phase
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000100
A phase that receives the analyte during an extraction process, typically separated from the donor phase by a semipermeable membrane. The analyte migrates from the donor phase into this phase due to a chemical potential gradient. This phase is designed to concentrate the target substance for subsequent analysis.
