Antimycotic

A chemical agent or drug used to treat fungal infections by inhibiting the growth of fungi or killing them. These substances target specific components of fungal cells, such as the cell wall or membrane, that are not present in human cells. Fluconazole is a common antimycotic used for systemic fungal infections.
