Antimuscarinic

Describing a pharmacological agent that blocks the action of acetylcholine at muscarinic acetylcholine receptors. These receptors are found in the parasympathetic nervous system and in some parts of the central nervous system. Antimuscarinic drugs are used to treat conditions such as overactive bladder, Parkinson's disease, and certain types of poisoning.
