Arsinic acids
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012889
Organic arsenic compounds containing an arsenic atom bonded to two hydrocarbyl groups, one hydroxyl group, and one oxygen atom via a double bond. They are characterized by the general structure R2As(=O)OH, where R represents an organic substituent. These are acidic compounds, analogous to carboxylic acids, and can form salts.
