Boronic acids
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001443
Organic compounds characterized by a boron atom bonded to one organic group and two hydroxyl groups, with the general formula RB(OH)2. These compounds are weak Lewis acids and are widely used in organic synthesis, particularly in the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reaction. They are typically stable in air and water.
