Phosphinic acids
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008776
Organic phosphorus compounds containing a phosphorus atom bonded to two organic groups, one hydroxyl group, and one oxygen atom via a double bond, with the general formula R2P(O)OH. These are monobasic acids, meaning they have one acidic proton. They are stronger acids than phosphinous acids.
