Autonomic dysreflexia

A potentially life-threatening condition characterized by an exaggerated sympathetic nervous system response to noxious stimuli below the level of a spinal cord injury. It results in a sudden, severe increase in blood pressure, accompanied by bradycardia and sweating above the injury level. This condition requires immediate medical attention.
