Bioassay

A method for determining the concentration or potency of a substance by measuring its effect on living organisms, cells, or biological systems. It involves observing a biological response, such as growth inhibition or enzyme activity, which is proportional to the amount of the substance present. Bioassays are used in toxicology, pharmacology, and environmental monitoring.
