Biocompatible solid-phase microextraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001254
A sample preparation technique where a fiber coated with an extraction phase is directly immersed into a biological matrix without prior sample cleanup. The coating material is designed to minimize non-specific binding and matrix effects from complex biological components. This approach reduces sample handling steps and preserves the integrity of labile analytes.
