Bioconjugate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001257
A molecule formed by the covalent attachment of two or more biomolecules, or a biomolecule and a non-biomolecule, to create a new hybrid entity with combined functionalities. These constructs are designed for specific applications, such as targeted drug delivery, imaging, or diagnostic assays. Examples include antibody-drug conjugates and protein-polymer conjugates.
