Bubbler
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001523
A device used to introduce a gas into a liquid, typically for gas washing, scrubbing, or sampling. The gas is dispersed through a porous frit or an orifice at the bottom of a tube, creating small bubbles that rise through the liquid. This design maximizes the contact surface area between the gas and the liquid for efficient interaction.
