Centrifugal radius

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001798

The distance from the center of rotation to a specified point within a centrifuge tube or container. This value is required for calculating the relative centrifugal field (RCF) experienced by a sample. For accurate calculations, the minimum, maximum, and average radii to the sample liquid are specified, measured in millimeters or centimeters.
