Chromatographic detector
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002046
A device located at the end of a chromatographic column that senses the presence of separated components as they elute from the stationary phase. It generates an electrical signal proportional to the concentration or amount of each component. Common types include UV-Vis detectors, mass spectrometers, and flame ionization detectors.
