Coincidence resolving time

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002192

The maximum time interval within which two or more detected events are considered to be simultaneous or coincident by a detection system. Events occurring within this window are registered as a single coincidence, while those outside are treated as independent. This parameter is specified in units of time, such as nanoseconds, and affects the accuracy of coincidence counting measurements.
