Cost-effectiveness analysis

An economic evaluation method that compares the costs of different interventions with their outcomes, expressed in natural units such as lives saved or cases cured. This analysis determines the most efficient way to achieve a specific health outcome or environmental goal. The results are often presented as a cost-effectiveness ratio, indicating the cost per unit of effect.
