Filler

A substance added to a material, such as a polymer or composite, to improve its physical properties, reduce cost, or achieve specific characteristics. These additives can enhance strength, stiffness, thermal stability, or electrical conductivity. Common examples in carbon materials include carbon black or graphite particles incorporated into plastics or rubbers.
