Cyclosiloxanes
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002830
Cyclic compounds composed of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms in the ring, with organic substituents attached to the silicon atoms. These are the fundamental building blocks for silicone polymers, exhibiting high thermal stability and flexibility. Common examples include D3, D4, and D5, referring to rings with three, four, and five siloxane units, respectively.
