Phosphonitriles
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013389
Inorganic polymers or oligomers containing alternating phosphorus and nitrogen atoms in a ring or chain structure, with two substituents on each phosphorus atom. These compounds are characterized by the presence of P=N bonds and can exhibit a range of properties depending on the substituents. A common example is hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene, (PNCl2)3.
