Phosphoranyl radicals
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008785
Radical species in which the unpaired electron is formally localized on a phosphorus atom, which is bonded to four other atoms. These radicals are typically formed as intermediates in reactions involving phosphorus compounds. Their stability and reactivity depend on the nature of the substituents around the phosphorus center.
