Denuder
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013026
A device used in analytical chemistry to selectively remove gaseous analytes from an air stream while allowing particulate matter to pass through. It typically consists of a tube coated with a substance that absorbs or reacts with the target gas. Denuders are employed to prevent interference from gaseous species during the collection and analysis of aerosols.
