Diaphoretic

Describing a substance or agent that induces or increases perspiration. These agents act on the sweat glands, either directly or indirectly through the nervous system, to promote the secretion of sweat. Certain medications or herbal remedies are known for their diaphoretic properties, often used to reduce fever.
