Diastereomorphism
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003139
The relationship between two objects or models that parallels the relationship between diastereoisomeric molecules: they are stereo-related but neither identical nor mirror images of each other. The word is the object-level counterpart of diastereoisomerism, as enantiomorphism is for enantiomers. It is not the same as diastereotopism, which describes atoms or groups within a single molecule.
