Differential detector

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003168

A type of detector in chromatography that measures a property of the column effluent relative to a reference stream, often the mobile phase before it enters the column. This design allows for the detection of analytes by sensing small changes in the measured property, such as refractive index or conductivity, as the analyte elutes. It is sensitive to changes rather than absolute values.
