Differential scanning calorimetry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003173
A thermoanalytical technique that measures the heat flux difference between a sample and an inert reference as a function of temperature or time. This method provides quantitative and qualitative information about physical and chemical changes that involve endothermic or exothermic processes. It is widely used for characterizing polymers, pharmaceuticals, and other materials.
