Doctor blading
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003370
A technique for creating thin films by spreading a liquid or paste material onto a substrate using a blade or knife-edge. The blade controls the thickness of the deposited film by maintaining a precise gap between itself and the substrate. This method is widely used in the fabrication of polymer coatings and electronic devices.
