Effective chimney height
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003584
The sum of the physical height of a chimney or stack and the plume rise, which is the additional height gained by the buoyant plume before it levels off. This combined height determines the initial dispersion of pollutants into the atmosphere. It is a key parameter in atmospheric dispersion modeling.
