Electroporation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003788
A molecular biology technique that uses an electrical pulse to create temporary pores in cell membranes. These transient pores allow the introduction of molecules, such as DNA, RNA, or drugs, into the cell's interior. This method is applied in gene therapy, drug delivery, and the creation of genetically modified organisms.
