Elution solvent

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003823

A liquid phase used in chromatography to carry analytes through or off the stationary phase. Its composition and properties are selected to selectively desorb the target compounds from the sorbent material. The choice of elution solvent significantly influences the separation efficiency and recovery of analytes.
