Estrogenic

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004108

Relating to substances that mimic or modulate the actions of natural estrogens in the body. These compounds bind to estrogen receptors, initiating biological responses that affect reproductive development, bone density, and cardiovascular health. Many synthetic chemicals, such as some pesticides and plastics, exhibit estrogenic activity.
