Estradiol

A primary female sex hormone, belonging to the estrogen class of steroid hormones, produced mainly by the ovaries. It is involved in the regulation of the menstrual cycle, development of female secondary sexual characteristics, and maintenance of reproductive tissues. This hormone also influences bone density and cardiovascular health.
